God Works Best with Broken People: Story of Alcoholism & Redemption
Jun 03, 2022 Episode 13
Matthew & Amy Weldon

This week we had the honor of speaking with our friends Patrick and Lori Foster. Patrick is an airline pilot and they live in Texas with their son, John. They open up about their very difficult journey through alcoholism, and how they came out the other side with a new lease on life. Theirs is a powerful story of redemption and what happens when you truly surrender to God.

Bottom line: God works really well with broken people.

“Strength lies in the ability to surrender and ask for help when something is greater than you.”

“The storm is the forging process for something that’s better on the other side.”
